Carrying out research in the fields related to the objectives of the institute, both independently, and, in cooperation with scientific and research centers inside and outside the region.
Provide training and capacity building initiatives for stakeholders in the agriculture sector and in accordance to the objectives of the institute.
Facilitate debate on key issues and policy matters affecting the agriculture industry in the country and the region.
The principal target market comprises farmer Unions, associations and non-affiliated communal, A1 and A2 farmers operating in various legal forms (sole proprietor, partnership, limited liability company, cooperative etc,) that have a desire to create wealth through farming at various scales or sizes including all players in the value chain.
